Astro panel X Lite is only compatible with Adobe Photoshop CC from 2015 to 2024 version. Compatibility with the new Mac M1 processors is guaranteed by starting Adobe Photoshop in Rosetta emulation mode.

What is Astro Panel?

Astro panel is the best plug-in for Adobe Photoshop CC to accelerate the post production of digital astronomical, landscape and retouch images.

I downloaded Anastasiy's Extension Manager but I can't install Astro Panel

Make sure you have extracted all the files from the zip archive into a folder. If you have Windows run the program as an Administrator. Alternatively, try another Extension Manager, such as ZXPInstaller or manual installation.

I installed Astro Panel correctly but when I'm going to Window -> Extensions in Adobe Photoshop CC I can't find it.

Make sure you have a compatible version of Photoshop among those listed (from 2017 to 2023).

To find out, just go to Help -> System Information and read the first line Adobe Photoshop version: ...; if you notice that the installed version is lower than the CC 2017 version you need to upgrade to a newer version.

If you have a Macbook with M1 Cpu you must open Photoshop with Rosetta emulation mode.

Astro Panel Manual Installation

Open the zip file and copy only the folder named it.angeloperrone.astropanel into one of these folders, depending on your operating system:

Win: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions

Mac: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions

After this, open Photoshop and check that the panel is present on Window -> Extensions or Extensions legacy.

When will the new UXP version be available?

We have been working for months on the new UXP version natively compatible with Mac and Windows in Adobe Photoshop 2021, 2022 and 2023.
The update takes time and we are writing the new Astro Panel from scratch.
